Current Fall Beauty Favorites

It's been a while since I've updated this blog! Two months to be exact. Things have been really hectic recently and I've been so busy with rotations. I was on an especially difficult rotation the last two months since it was a mix of medicine + pediatrics, so the final exam was absolutely brutal. Really had high hopes for getting a High Pass, but don't think that's going to the likely since I totally bombed the practical portion of the exam. Anyway, don't want to dwell too hard on the past.

This past week has been Geriatrics week, which was pretty much a highly-needed relaxation week. We had classes from 8-5 most days but it was nice to be able to come home, relax, and not have to study. Especially since I have very important and demanding rotations from November all the way through April.

Of course I used this week to SHOP! I haven't been able to go shopping for anything more than groceries since I've had no time. Haven't event kept up with my favorite beauty blogs and Youtube channels. Pretty much just been a study robot, hah. So this week was great! I got caught up on blogs, Youtube channels, new beauty products, all the holiday stuff coming out, etc. Of course I popped in to my favorite stores like Ulta, Target, Walmart and stocked up on beauty stuff and splurged on some unnecessary stuffs (haul posts coming soon!). I've also been focusing on making some lifestyle changes this week, but more on that later since the true test of these lifestyle changes I'm making will be in the upcoming weeks when life gets hectic again.

Anyway, even though I've been working my ass off, I have been trying my best to make time for beauty in the morning. I've been horrendous when it comes to fashion, but when it comes to neck-up beauty, I've been doing pretty damn well! Here are the makeup products I've been using recently. Quite a bunch of new products!

L'Oreal True Match Lumi Healthy Luminous Makeup

Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette

Milani Baked Blush in Berry Smoothie

NARS Blush in Deep Throat

Clinique Chubby Lip Balm in Fuller Fig

NYX Butter Gloss in Tiramisu

Essie Nail Polish in Shearling Darling

L'Oreal Nail Polish in Sweet Nothings

Revlon Parfumerie Nail Polish in Autumn Spice

July Favorites!

Here are my most used products for the month of July. Woo, almost done with summer! :)

Wet n' Wild 8-Pan Coloricon Palette in Walking the Red Carpet

I purchased this limited-edition W&W palette sometime around May, but I haven't gotten around to using it a lot until this month. I used the 'Eyelid' and 'Crease' shades in the first column last month, but I didn't like it too much because it made my eyes look tired and dull. This month, though, I've been experimenting with the second column a lot more. I've especially liked using the 'Crease' shade in the second column all over my eyelid during the daytime. It looks so gorgeous as a shimmery, yet natural daytime eyeshadow color! Makes me look much more awake and it looks stunning when worn alone all over the eyelid. No smokey crease color needed. I hope W&W releases more natural-colored eyeshadows in the future! Amazing drugstore eyeshadow palette for only a few dollars, what's more to ask for.

Maybelline Volum' Express Pumped Up Colossal Mascara

My new favorite mascara of the year. I normally don't like Maybelline mascaras because they tend to clump really really easily. I've tried the Great Lash and the Rocket Volume in the past with little success. Therefore, I was initially skeptical to try this mascara, but I decided to give it a shot after seeing the fat-bristled brush and a lot of Youtube gurus rave about this product. In a nutshell, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this mascara. It barely clumps, separates my lashes beautifully, lasts all day, doesn't flake, volumizes without over-lenghtening my lashes, and comes in a pretty eye catching hot pink tube. Love love love. In fact, I love this mascara so much I've been wearing it alone most days with just foundation, without any eyeshadow, blush, or even lipstick. I love how when I'm in a rush, I can just swipe on a few coats of this mascara and I look awake and polished. Truly an express product.

Physician's Formula Happy Booster Blush in Natural

I've probably mentioned this in a past favorites post, but I've been using this blush literally everyday this month. Alongside the Maybelline Pumped Up Volume mascara, this does a great job at making me look awake and polished within minutes. It doubles as a highlighter and a blush without being too frosty and it's great for when I'm in a rush and want a no-brainer face product to give me a nice, healthy glow. Doesn't require much blending and it's sheer enough that you can't overdose on it.

Maybelline Baby Lips in Pink Quartz

I absolutely love the new Maybelline Crystal Collection!! For years, I've wanted a sheer Baby Lips collection because most of the other Baby Lips collections are super opaque and look terrible on me. I don't really like opaque tinted lip balms, which is what most of the Baby Lips are. I struggled to find a shade that works for me, until this collection came out. I love every single color! I like Pink Quartz especially because it's truly a MLBB color and it's sheer enough that I can swipe it on without a mirror and look great. Again, great for days where I'm just running errands and don't want too much makeup on or when I'm in a rush and need a quick no-brainer lip product. And they're so hydrating and smooth, and the tube is gorgeous and sparkly. I hope I can pick up a few more shades in this collection this coming fall because these are going to be my favorite lip balms for this cold weather season, hands down! The berry and mauve shades are going to look especially beauty for fall time.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Pango Peach

This lipgloss looks so fricken pretty in the tube, I couldn't not mention this in my favorites! It's a really pretty melon-peachy-coral color that is perfect for the summertime. I've been wearing this gloss a ton this month, mainly around the house because this gloss does tend to wear down pretty quickly and needs to be reapplied fairly often. But, it's super shimmery so it looks great when worn outdoors in the sunlight which is how I'm hoping to wear it for the rest of the summer. But it's a really breathtaking, unique lipgloss color and I don't have anything like it in my collection. Great gloss for the fall and even goes with heavier eye makeup, since it is a nudey lip color.

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Nailpolish in Speedy Sunburst

Hands down my favorite nail polish this summer. I love neon colors for the summer and since pink is my favorite color, this is of course my favorite nail color this season. In fact, it's been on my hands or toes most of this summer and I'll probably be reapplying it next time I do my nails. Sally Hansen Insta-Dri also happens to be one of my favorite nail polish lines because it's affordable, has a great color selection, and has a really nice applicator brush. Plus, it dries in a jiffy and doesn't chip for a while. Don't know how much more I can gush about this nail polish color!

S'mores!

Favorite summertime treat! My brother and I have been loving eating smores for dessert once every few weeks. We finally figured out how to make the perfect indoor smores and have been obsessed! I forgot how wonderful summertime smores taste and smell, ahh! Hoping to carry on this tradition to fall time, maybe even on an outdoor fire pit!

Evol Sausage, Egg, & Smoked Gouda Breakfast Burrito
Not gonna lie, on most mornings I barely have time to put on makeup, let alone make a proper breakfast. I always struggle to find grab n' go breakfast options, because most of them are sweet and I'm definitely a savory breakfast kind of girl. I've always hated cereals, yogurts, granolas, or anything sweet in the morning because they make me kinda feel sick. The sweetest thing I can scarf down in the morning is a banana. But when I went to Target a few weeks ago, I found these on sale and grabbed a few to try. And I am IN LOVE. First off, these burritos taste so fricken' delicious and hearty! Definitely my kind of breakfast. Second, it takes only 2 minutes to heat up in the microwave. Third, it's actually good for you and keeps you full for hours and hours!!! Not many things I can say that about. It's packed with protein, only has 35g carbs, and only 300mg of sodium!!!! The last factoid there is the reason why I love these babies. It's so hard to find frozen meal options that aren't saturated with salt and other nasty preservatives. They're on sale at Target for $1.66 until the beginning of August, so I stocked up on a bunch for rushed mornings where I have to grab n' go my food. I wish they made other flavors, but for now I'm going to stockpiling these in my freezer like crazy.

June Favorites ♥

Lots of beauty products I've been loving this month! I've had a lot of time this month to experiment with new stuff and have hauled up a lotttt of goodies that I've fallen absolutely in love with. Here they all are. It was really hard to narrow them out, but here are the main products I've been loving. I wanted to mention a lot of products I mentioned in my Summer/Spring favorites, but I left them out so I wasn't talking about the same products again and again. But, I still loveee those products and have been using them a lot still, but here are some of the newer products I've loved and discovered this month.

PINK Sweet & Flirty Body Mist
Smells like summer in a bottle! Super light, breezy, and fruity. I've been wearing this in the morning as a light fragrance and it makes me smell amazing! Doesn't last a long time, but that's just the way I like it for an everyday scent.

BBW Candle in Lilac Blossom
I usually don't like floral candles, but this one is an exception. Very light floral, lilac smell and the mason jar version is strong enough to fragrance my entire bedroom!

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush

I normally don't mention makeup tools in a favorites post, but this foundation brush is soooo nice! It's nice and dense and it applies my foundation like a dream in less than 3 minutes without any fallout or streaking.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Dust (Naked 3 Palette)

I mentioned the Naked 3 Palette in one of my spring favorites, but I've been using this shade in particular the entire month! It's such a pretty frosted pinky-rose color and I love this shade in particular because it doesn't look too light or too pink on me. It almost looks like a light mauve on me. It's the most natural looking pink in this palette (for my skin color) and I've been loving it on days where I want a non-brown, but still natural eyeshadow. It makes me look refreshed and awake without looking like I applied a ton of pink eyeshadow.

Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant Mascara

bareMinerals READY Blush in The Aphrodisiac

A beautiful blush I recently rediscovered. I've owned this blush for a few years and I have a love-forget relationship with this. This summer, I've been loving how beautiful and glowy this shimmery apricot blush makes me look while still appearing natural! The best part? No need for a highlighter since the shimmer specks in this blush do all the work and light me up instantly while giving me a healthy, pretty, sun kissed glow.

Clinique Cheek Pop in Berry Pop

Another blush favorite this month. I've always been afraid of bright pink, fuchsia blush colors but I gave it a shot when the new Clinique blushes came out, and I'm soooo happy I did! This color looks gorgeous on tan skin and has been my go to blush on most days since it makes me look extremely well rested, fresh, bright, youthful, and like I just worked out...in a good way! I like to wear this color on days when I want my cheeks to pop a little bit more since this isn't as natural appearing as a peachy-apricot blush. But yet, it doesn't look like you slapped on blush. Just enhances your look in a very pretty, doll-like way! Next to a shimmery peachy blush, this is definitely my new favorite summer blush color -- probably will look great in the colder months too!

CoverGirl Lipslicks Smoochies Sizzle Gloss in Hot Stuff

I was browsing around Ulta a few weeks ago and picked up this gloss because I had heard good things about the Smoochies line. And ohhh my gosh this gloss smells and tastes just like cherries! I really like to wear this on days where I'm wearing minimal makeup, usually on weekends on days off when I can get away with wearing glitzy makeup (this gloss literally has chunks of glitter!). Beautiful sheer peachy, glittery gloss for the summer, especially with the fruity taste and smell! I'm pretty sure I'm halfway done with the tube, thats how much I've been wearing it recently.

Maybelline Baby Lips in Rose Rush

I'm usually not a big fan of the Baby Lips balms because they're quite opaque and I don't wear tinted lip balms as much anymore. However, they recently came out with a Pink collection and this color looked absolutely beautiful in swatches. On me, it translates to a gorgeous mid-opaque hot pinkish color. This shade in particular is gorgeous because it's sheer, but yet opaque enough to enhance my lip color. Plus, it smells like watermelons mmm! I really like Baby Lips because they're so incredibly hydrating and for only $4 a tube, they do well in terms of pigmentation. I'm glad I finally found a wearable color in this line!

Trader Joe's

Oh my gosh, I recently discovered TJ and I'm in LOVE. Their frozen section is absolutely amazing! They have cheap food, but the best part is that it's so much healthier than the grocery store frozen foods section in terms of sodium, sugar, and ingredients. Their other sections are good as well, but the frozen foods section is a total winner. Things I've been loving are their potato pancakes (with only 5 ingredients!), pad see-ew, and a pesto pasta TV dinner (with only 390 mg sodium and 300 calories!!!). I'll definitely be going here every single time I need to restock my freezer!

Sesame Oil! (hahaha)

Totally random favorite, but I've started using sesame oil to cook my Asian dishes and ohmygosh it makes SUCH a big difference in terms of taste! I love love love Asian cuisine and I've been experimenting with cooking my own Asian dishes at home. So far, I've used sesame oil to make chow fun noodles and fried rice, and it definitely gives these dishes more flavor than olive oil. Definitely a must ingredient for any Asian dishes...olive oil definitely won't cut it! I'm so surprised I didn't discover it sooner, but never again will my pantry be without this!!

"Keep Calm And Have A Cupcake" Desk Notes

Last but certainly not least, my new favorite desk accessory. I found this at the clearance section of my university book store, and it is SO fricken beautiful. Love the light pink casing and the cupcake imprinted notes. I love baking and love love love cupcake-baking and decorating in particular, so this message is me in a phrase. I love everything about this...the box, the notes, how big the notes are, the design, the elegance, the font size, the message. Ahh, love love love. So me in every single way. Plus, it's been keeping me organized and top of things this past month so it's a total win win!

Spring Beauty, Fashion, Food Favorites! ♥

Since I skipped my April favorites, I have a lottttt of beauty products I've been wanting to talk about this month! Plus, I have a few non-beauty favorites (like FOOOOOD) and some fashion-y stuff (who would've thunk!?!?!) to share too. Overall, there have been some great new products out this spring, much more than I've shown here. As always, I wish I could raid the entire drugstore/Ulta/Sephora racks for every single amazing beauty product out this season, but my wallet just isn't that big sadly :(
Anyway, without further rambling, my favorites for this season!

St. Ives Even & Bright Pink Lemon and Mandarin Orange Scrub

A great new scrub I found in Target a few months ago! I love the St. Ives face scrubs, but the scrubby beads are usually really large and rough, so I can only use it 1-2x a week to prevent my face to get red and irritated. However, I was really excited when I saw a bunch of new St. Ives scrubs, and a few of them have really fine, small, less scratchy beads in really fresh scents! So I picked up this scent for the spring and summertime and boy is it a refreshing treat when I'm washing my face in the morning. And the best part is that I can use it every other day or even every day since the beads aren't as irritating to my face as the original St. Ives scrubs.

Bath & Body Works Shower Gel in Rome Honeysuckle Amore

I change up my shower gel every month and don't really mention them in my faves because they're just plain old body washes and I usually really like them, but not to the point where I have to mention them every month. BUT, this month I have absolutely fallen in LOVE with this shower gel. It's one of the few BBW shower gels that leave a scent lingering the whole day after I shower. It smells like flowers and it's soooo perfect for this season. Makes showering a definite treat. Plus, I love the hot pink color and how it stands out in my shower. Hoping that they didn't discontinue it so I can pick up a few more bottles for next year.

Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Tri-Wheat Leave-In Conditioner

So this product is one of those hair products everyone and their mother raves about. It's been around for a long time, but the $20 price tag has always scared me away. But, sometime in April, Ulta had all of the Sexy Hair products on half off, so I was able to get this for only $10. Oh my oh my, I wish I had discovered this earlier! It makes my hair sooooo much softer, more manageable, and makes it feel healthier. It does reduce frizz a little, but I still have to use a serum after this to really get all my frizz down. I've been using this spray about once a week or when I have a special event coming up. Love the way this smells, how lightweight it is, and what a great job it does at taming my hair after a shower. Overall, love love love and I will be buying this again!

Organix Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum

I bought this product I think last June and I used to love it but stopped using it in the fall/winter because of how heavy and oily it made my hair. But, I pulled this baby out again this month because my hair has been feeling a little dry and getting unruly, so I thought maybe this serum would help moisturize my hair. Ahh don't know why I ever stopped using it! A few drops of this stuff smoothed across my strands and ends really reduces frizz and brings my hair back to life! Plus, coconut milk is really good for the hair so I'm sure it helps fortify the strands too. The only issue is that it is a heavier product and probably not good for fine hair, but if you use it sparingly on your strands while avoiding your scalp/roots and wash your hair every other day like me, you should be fine. Definitely going to be a staple hair product for me the entire summer!

BareMinerals Matte Foundation in Golden Tan

Ah foundation. Something I've always been really resistant to wearing. Finally decided to cave in and try a BM foundation and boy I am in love. Why have I not used this before?! Evens out my skin like a dream, feels really lightweight, stays all day, and matches my skin tone perfectly. Only thing is that it is a pain to sit there buffing this stuff out, but the results are worth it. Feels like you just put on a new skin!

Physician's Formula Matte Collection Quad in Classic Nudes

After hunting like crazy for neutral matte eyeshadows, I finally found an amazing drugstore matte eyeshadow quad! This isn't really a popular product, but it's definitely a hidden gem. The colors are SO pigmented and this quad in particular has all the perfect brown shades. Except for the whitish shade, I've been using all three on a regular basis for when I want a more natural eye look or as a transition color for my crease. In love, probably will end up getting the other matte quads from this collection eventually.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure

Another recent beauty hype. Again I was hesitant to get this blush because of the hefty price tag. I heard a lot of great things about this blush, but just paying $35 for a single pan of blush was a little over the top.  But I decided to treat myself and pick up this blush as a post-step1 gift, especially given the fact that I was stressing hardcore during that period and was just glad that the nightmare was over. I got Mood Exposure in particular because I don't have this shade in my collection. It's a gorgeous plummy-brown shade and it looks very natural on my tan complexion. All the hype about this blush is true. It lights up my complexion, makes me look fresh and awake, doubles as a highlighter-blush combo, and adds the perfect amount of color to my cheeks -- perfect for everyday, especially office-wear. Comes in a very sleek, sophisticated packaging. Super easy to blend even if you slap on a little too much and again, this color is just beautiful! Love the formula and I may just be naughty and pick up another shade!

Physician's Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush in Natural

Okay, let's be honest: the reason I got this blush was mainly the packaging. Love the little hearts and the pink container it comes in. Swirled together, you get a shimmery, light pink blush. I was a little afraid at first because the swatch looks mega shimmery, but on the cheeks it looks stunning and makes you look like you have a post-workout glow. No need for highlighter or anything else! A really gorgeous blush color for the springtime!

The Body Shop Watermelon Lip Gloss

I've been eying Body Shop glosses since forever. These are definitely my type of glosses: smell great, taste great, add a sheer color, lots of shine, no glitter. PERFECT. It's very appropriate for summertime since it smells and tastes exactly like watermelon. Delivers a really gorgeous sheer pink-red wash of color on my lips. More for everyday wear, not exactly for the office as it wears off easily and requires touch-ups every hour. Definitely favorite summer lip product this year!

Benefit Ultra Plush Lipgloss in Hoola

This gloss is another everyday sheer lip gloss that I love for the summertime. It's a really pretty bronzey-nude lipgloss with some shimmer. It's a great gloss for the warmer months with a nice tan. Plus, the tube looks so summery! I love the Benefit Ultra Plush glosses because they are so moisturizing, smell/taste like peaches, add a ton of shine, and look amazing on the lips. I'm probably going to pick up the Coralista shade for the summertime and possibly Bella Bamba for the fall. Hope these never get discontinued because I go through about a tube every season or every other season. That's how much I apply it and love it!

Maybelline Color Elixir in Caramel Infused

Now for a pigmented gloss that I have been loving this season. The Maybelline Color Elixirs are fairly new and come in a ton of shades ranging from brights to nudes to pinks to reds. I only have this shade so far and I'm in love. THE most perfect MLBB shade for me. It's almost like a gloss version of my Revlon Lip Butter in Pink Truffle. Smells like vanilla/floral mix, so if you don't like lip products smelling perfumey, then stay away. Otherwise they make my lips feel super soft and aren't super sticky, although they last about 2-3 hours. I probably will buy a few more shades because the formula feels really nice and lasts a good chunk of time. I'm a total lip gloss junkie and I love me a gloss that feels like a gloss but lasts like a lipstick!

Revlon Parfumerie Nail Polish in African Tea Rose
Revlon Parfumerie Nail Polish in Apricot Nectar

My favorite new nail polishes this season! As you know, I love beauty products that smell yummy and these polishes fit the bill. Each one of them has a unique scent upon drying that is related to its shade name. So, African Tea Rose smells like roses while Apricot Nectar smells fruity. They also have a lot of shine, good staying power (not the best though!), a great applicator for really precise application, and come in a really cute bottle! Plus, the two above are absolutely stunning shades for this spring/summer season. The bottles look very boudoir-ish and ughhh I wish all nail polish bottles looked that vintage and cute! Not the best formula since it does tend to chip after a few days, but the other good qualities of these polishes make it worth the buy. Not all that expensive either, so I'm looking forward to buying a few more shades this fall/winter season. Definitely no more polishes for me this summer since I've been hoarding nail polishes like cray these past few months!

Merona Ultimate Scoopneck & V-Neck Tees

I don't always feature a fashion favorite, but this month I went clothes shopping for a new office wardrobe and picked up a few little goodies. One of my favorites are the Merona basic tees. I love plain tees because they are so easy to style and can work either as casual shirts or more dressy shirts when paired with statement necklaces. I used to buy the Mossimo tees from Target, but they were so thin and flimsy and tended to get damaged easily in the washer. But I tried the Merona tees and they are SO much better! They're about the same price, but are made with a thicker material and fit a lot better on me. They come in a great range of colors and styles and I believe they're always coming up with new shades every season. They have $5 sales on them occasionally so it's great to stock up on these around holidays and such. I have 4-5 colors and cannot wait to buy some more because they are just so amazing, durable, fit great, and look very chic even as officewear!

LC Lauren Conrad Clothing Line

Another recent fashion favorite has been the LC clothing line at Kohl's. The clothing and jewelry are actually surprisingly affordable! The line's style is really similar to mine with a lot of frilly, delicate, flawy, vintage pieces. I wish I could afford every single thing from this line because everything I see I love. Not a single piece I'm like "hell no!" about. Honestly, I should just put Lauren Conrad as my favorite for this month because I love her shoe line, website, beauty/fashion style, advice, and tips as well!

Alexia Hashed Browns with Onion, Garlic, and White Pepper

I love potatoes. LOVE them. My favorite "veggie" if it can even be counted as one. But, I don't like to buy fresh potatoes because I don't have time to peel them and last time I bought a bag, I had a massive fruit fly infestation in my apartment. Yuck, bad bad memories. So, I've resorted to frozen potatoes and I have been absolutely loving the Alexia brand for my potato fix. I've tried the sweet potato, crinkle cut, and hash browns from this line. I love them all but I particularly like their seasoned hash browns. They are a little unhealthy because you have to pan-fry them and can't just pop em in the toaster over like the fries. I've been making them as a Saturday morning breakfast treat for myself and nom nom they are so good with eggs or sausage on the side! It comes with seasoning already there and are still quite low in sodium (brownie points!). Love love love this brand of potatoes since they're delish, healthy, and affordable so I don't feel super guilty about my potato addiction. In fact, I wish I had more freezer space so I could have multiple bags of potatoes there for my random potato cravings :)

Whew! SO that is it for my spring favorites this year. I'm posting this on June 1st which to me is when summer begins! Time to bust out the heavy duty sunscreen, tank tops, shorts, and sunglasses!

March Favorites! ♥

Oh my another month has come and gone by. I know I didn't have many favorites last month, but I have been in love with a lotta great new products in March! Here are just a few of them.

Queen Helene Mint Julep Face Mask
Totally zaps my zits overnight! I've been breaking out a little more than normal this month. I usually apply a dot of this cream right over any bumps on my face before bed and they're totally dried up  and shrunken by the morning!

Milani Secret Cover Concealer
I always loved my bareMinerals face products, but recently their cream concealer has been letting me down big time. I started using this drugstore beauty to cover up my blemishes and I am in love! Even my mom complimented me on how bright my undereyes looked and how flawless my skin was, which is saying alot. It covers my hyperpigmentation perfectly, with full coverage, and lasts all day. Definitely going to be my new full-time concealer.

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette

Finally started using this palette! It's perfect for springtime since it's full of pinks and mauves. Definitely going to be my go-to palette this spring and summer.

BareMinerals Blush in Golden Gate

In love with this shimmery, peachy-pink blush for the springtime season. I'm actually quite impressed with the bareMinerals loose blushes! They blend just like a dream and look very natural (more than any of my other blushes). You only need a little bit of product too. I'll be picking up a couple more shades this summer for sure!

Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Peach Parfait

My favorite lip product of the month! Again, a perfect pick for the springtime. It's a shimmery gold-flecked peachy-pink lip color. The best part is that it's sheer so it doesn't look to shiny and metallic or pale on my lips. It's definitely going to be my MLBB shade this summer!

BareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss in Rebel

Another MLBB color discovery. This is literally THE most perfect pinky-nude gloss shade for me -- its a creamy, sparkle-free salmon pink rose. I got this as a free sample a couple months ago, but stashed it away in my beauty drawer without a second thought. I recently re-discovered it and literally am in love.  I could rave about this gloss all day, but I'll just say that it is literally the perfect gloss formulation, lasts all day, tastes amazing, makes my lips feel smooth and silky, and look shiny. Been wearing this literally every other day and looking forward to buying a few more colors soon!

NYX Butter Gloss in Apple Strudel

I featured this in my favorites a couple months ago, but I've been reaching for this gloss pretty frequently this month too. For being a cheap drugstore gloss, it feels amazing on the lips and has a good amount of pigmentation. It's a light baby pink, so it's great for days where I want to just wear a little bit of makeup and run out the door (aka every day since I've been doing nothing but studying). Also, it tastes and smells like vanilla!

Colbie Caillait Radio

The best Pandora station! Features hits by Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Norah Jones, etc. So relaxing for when I'm feeling stressed out. I think I've "liked" literally every single song on this station.

Lydia - Devil

My favorite album this month! Every song is sooooo good. Definitely one of the best alternative albums I've listened to in a long while. I LOVED their first album but their second album totally sucked, so I didn't have very high hopes for this album. But glad they're back with another kickass album. Lydia <3333
